Yesterday, I shared all the things we love to do as a family. One of our top 5 things to do as a family is go to Disney World. Yes, we are that Disney family. We have all the gear, follow all the Disney social media pages, and visit the parks frequently. Logan grew up going to Disney World and it’s something he has always wanted to do with his kids. Now, the love for Disney runs deep in our family.
What We Love About Disney World
Epcot Festivals & The Food

I’m sure you’ve heard of Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, but did you know they have others throughout the year?! At the beginning of the year, Epcot has the International Festival of the Arts. It showcases visual, performing, and culinary arts from around the world. Each country has a unique menu and there are various displays throughout the park. There is a lot of interactive art, like a Figment wall mural, where each person can paint-by-number and complete the mural. Over by the Land & Sea area, there was an area for kids to do sidewalk chalk and show off their own art skills. This is a great spot if you need a break, but also want to keep the kids entertained.
In the spring, there is Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival that showcases beautiful flower displays. Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival is in the fall and in the winter there is Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays. Each festival has a unique menu and special exhibits. In my opinion, Epcot is tailored toward the adult crowd and great for families with older kids. Of course, there is plenty for littles to do as well. I just think your kids will get more out of the experience the older they are.
Kid-Friendly Rides & Activities

Disney is the “happiest place on earth” and a dream for kids. One of the things we love about Disney parks is that there are so many kid-friendly rides, attractions, and activities. It is literally the best place for kids of all ages. We’ve visited a lot of amusement & theme parks over the years, and Disney has the most to offer for littles.
So often we hear people say they are waiting to take their kids to Disney until they are old enough to remember it. I get it! It might be the happiest place on earth, but it’s also the most expensive. But even if your kids don’t remember, you will. You’ll never regret making memories as a family. And besides, they are free until they are two! Take advantage of that. There’s plenty you can do with babies.
Disney World Resorts

The Disney magic is everywhere, even the Walt Disney World Resorts. Every Disney hotel has a theme and things that are special to each place. Every detail is well thought out and executed. There are a lot of perks to staying on property at a Disney hotel too! There is transportation from every Disney hotel to the parks, making it easy to get around. Each day a different park has magic hours, meaning they open early or close later for resort guests. There are pools and other outdoor activities at every hotel. And the cast members at the hotel will keep you in the loop of the happenings around the parks so you can plan your days to fit the most in.
Holidays At Disney

If you love the holidays, you’ll love them even more at Disney World! It’s magical all year round but nothing beats Christmas at Disney. Literally everywhere you look is decked out with lights and decor. Main Street brings all the Christmas spirit with a massive tree and all the shops have seasonal merchandise and beautiful window displays.
Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays showcases how the holidays are celebrated all around the world. You can even take a cookie stroll and try seasonal treats. I love how the Festival of Holidays brings all of the cultures and traditions together. There is so much to learn about how other countries celebrate the season.
There’s Something For The Whole Family

Disney is fun for the whole family. There is something for everyone, even those who don’t like rides. The magic of Walt Disney World is that it’s not just thrill rides. There are shows, musicals, food, parades, seasonal events, and so much more. There’s Animal Kingdom for your animal lovers and Hollywood Studios for your movie buffs.
You can experience Disney without ever going into the parks. Disney Springs has great dining and shops. The resorts are amazing, even if you’re not planning to visit the parks. You can walk the boardwalk, visit a spa, or go golfing. Did you know that you can even rent a boat and cruise around the lake.
The Friendliest Cast Members

Disney, by far, as the friendliest employees and best customer service. You pay a lot of money for the Disney experience, but none of it would be possible without their amazing cast members. There is not a question they can’t answer or a problem they can’t help you solve. They really are there to help you have the most magical experience ever.
Disney cast members go out of their way to make every prince and princess feel special. On more than one occasion, cast members have helped to cheer my kids up, distract them from disappointment, and make them laugh. I know it’s all part of the job, but they make it feel personal.
Disney is one of those places that you either like it, or you don’t. As Florida residents, we’ve met a lot of people who don’t get the hype of it. We know it’s not for everyone, but it’s one of our favorite things to do as a family. If you want to follow our Disney adventures, you can keep up with us on Instagram. We are currently on our second trip of the year and we will be sharing our tips & tricks for Disney on a budget soon!
