hey y’all. i’m chelsea
I’m passionate about family connections and traveling with my kids. I share helpful information to give you the confidence you need to make intentional moments with your children.
I’m a wife, mom, homeschool teacher, traveler, blogger, and homemaker. I wear a lot of hats and I’m passionate about what I do, so you’ll see a lot of things in this space. I don’t believe in narrowing down my passions to fit into a box online, so buckle up for a crazy ride
I live in Southwest Florida with my husband and two crazy kids. We live in an RV full-time on land we share with my in-laws. Oh, and we’re homesteaders. I spend my days raising children & chickens and I’m perfectly content with it.
“Collect moments, not things.”
After having my first child, I realized we had been spending so much of our time and money on meaningless things. What I wanted more than anything was the freedom to invest in my family and enrich the lives of my kids. It’s where my passion for travel and exploration began. It became my mission to show my children as much of the world as possible and teach them through real-life experiences.
There are too many people out there who say traveling with kids is a nuance and you shouldn’t do it. I’m here to tell you, YOU SHOULD!
My passion for sharing our travel adventures came out of frustration that there was lack of information out there for the best places to go with kids. I love seeing travel pictures of people in exotic places, swimming in the tropics, and climbing the highest mountains, but that wasn’t realistic for me and my babies. Now, I consider it my mission to find the most kid-friendly hotels, attractions, and destinations to share with all of you. It’s my hope that through my travels, you find the confidence to travel with your kids as well.
I’m a teacher at heart and love that I now get to teach my kids. After teaching in the classroom off and on for the last nine year, I’m bringing my talents home.
I never imagined homeschooling my kids, but now that it’s here, I can’t imagine not doing it. I truly believe that I am the best teacher for them and I’m excited to start our homeschool journey.
Homeschooling can be incredibly overwhelming when you’re just starting out. Even as a teacher, I’m overwhelmed by all of the ideologies, curriculums, and resources out there. I’m here to tell you, whatever you’re doing, YOU’RE DOING AN AMAZING JOB!
By sharing our homeschool journey, I hope to provide you with helpful resources and encouragement. And maybe even persuade someone who’s on the fence to jump in!
