Lavender is one of the most popular essential oils and a scent commonly used in lotions, skin care products, laundry soaps, and room sprays. Lavender has a fresh, floral scent that is known for its calming effect. Lavender is another versatile oil and is used in many skin care routines and relaxing/nighttime routines. It’s so gentle for your skin, Young Living created an entire baby line from it. The Seedlings line has great products that are gentle for babies. The seedlings gift bundle is a great gift for all expecting mothers.
Lavender comes in most of the premium starter kits (PSK). You can purchase your starter kit HERE*. In addition to your starter kit, you will get 24% off all YL products and be able to sign up for Essential Rewards (ER). ER is a monthly wellness box, customized by you, delivered right to your door.

Topically
Lavender is a gentle oil and can either be applied directly to the desired area or can be diluted. Dilution is recommended for use on babies and small children. Lavender is great for skin support and is great for skin irritation/rashes, bug bites, sunburn and blemishes. I like to add these* roller tops directly to my lavender bottle and apply directly to the irritated area.
Add 15-20 drops Lavender to 10 mL roller bottles*, top with fractionated coconut oil*, roll on bottom of feet, back of neck, wrists, ankles, or chest for sleep support and to promote relaxation.
Add 15-20 drops of Lavender to a 3oz spray bottle*, top with witch hazel*, shake well and spray on skin after a day in the sun.
Aromatically
Add 6-8 drops of Lavender into your diffuser for a calming, floral scent. It is great for promoting relaxation and sleep. It is great in the kids room during naptime or bedtime or in the living room during a peaceful movie night.
Add 1-2 drops into the palm of your hands and take a few deep breaths. Rub your hands through your hair and allow it to be a natural diffuser.
You can diffuse Lavender by itself or with other oils. My favorite Lavender diffuser blends can be found at the bottom of the page.
Dietary
Lavender is part of the vitality line, which means it can be ingested. Lavender adds a floral accent to your favorite recipes.
Add 1-2 drops in your favorite lemonade. Here is a great recipe for honey lavender lemonade.
