Road Trip Must Haves For Kid

Other Road Trip Must Haves
Extra Clothes – Have extra clothes easily accessible for each person in the car. You never know when accidents will happen or the weather will change along your trip. I usually pack a small duffle or backpack and put it under the back seat. I include a full change of clothes and warm/cold alternative, just in case. Because it’s easily accessible, you can grab it quickly at a rest stop without digging through your other bags.
Trash Bags – Pack a few large and small trash bags. We use the large trash bags for dirty clothes and blankets. They help us to keep our dirty things separate from our clean stuff. The small trash bags are great for keeping your car clean. Trash accumulates so fast in a small space, especially if you are traveling a far distance.
Wipes – Baby wipes are great for so many things. They are great for cleaning hands, wiping down car seats, cleaning up small messes, and wiping off art boards.
Books – Books are a great way to keep littles busy. We pack a variety of books when we travel. Picture books, sticker books, activity books, water books, ect. Put a storage box between your kids or in a space that’s easy for everyone to access. Fill the box with books that interest each of your kids and let them share.
Car Companion – We get our kids a new stuffed animal before each trip that we call a car companion. This is their special friend for the trip. Someone they can read to in the car and cuddle with. Our kids are little and love to take their special friend on our adventures with us.
