my girl found her thing this year 🐴
It has been so fun watching her fall in love with horses and grow her love for riding. I can’t wait to see where this takes her.

A sort of typical day for us.
The time change has us all up earlier, so our school day started a lot earlier than it usually does. But that also means it ended a lot earlier so we’re just gonna go with it for now.

we are also getting into the nicer weather here in Southwest Florida, which means we are going to be spending a lot more time outside. While this is our typical fall/winter routine, it looks a lot different than it did a few weeks ago.

so if you’re new here, you have seen us do a more traditional style of learning in the summer, but now is when we transition into more of an unschooling and Charlotte Mason inspired homeschool style. We are going to be outside a whole lot more, exploring, nature walks, field trips, etc., and i’ll have a lot more literature based learning.

We’re officially easing back into homeschool after a much-needed 2½ week break 😅 I honestly forget where we even left off, but we’re starting fresh with Charlotte’s Web as our November read aloud. I grabbed a literacy guide from Amazon because I’m not reinventing the wheel this time around — we’re keeping it simple and consistent. Here’s to getting back into routine and finding our rhythm again! 🕸️🐷

A Disney adventure is worth a week off of school ✨

We took this week off from homeschool and just soaked up the magic with the grandparents — no lessons, no plans, just memories. 🩵✨

But if you want to homeschool at Disney, you totally can (and honestly, it’s easier than you think):

I’ve been going regularly to help manage my autoimmune symptoms, support my nervous system, and just keep my body feeling its best — but honestly, chiropractic care can be beneficial for the whole family.

My favorite place to be will always be outside with a good book and my kids by my side. There’s something about sunshine, stories, and slowing down together that feels like pure magic.
